LGBTQ+ Youth Program
A place to belong.
Growing up is hard enough. Every young person deserves a place where they can be themselves, build meaningful friendships, and know they are accepted exactly as they are.
Equality Toledo’s LGBTQ+ Youth Program provides a safe, affirming, and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 12–19. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30–8:00 PM, creating opportunities for young people to connect, learn, laugh, and grow together.
Each meeting offers something new—from games, art, music, and crafts to movie nights, guest speakers, discussions, community service projects, and special events. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, express yourself creatively, or simply spend time with people who understand and support you, you’ll find a place here.
Our program is built on respect, inclusion, and community. We believe every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
What you can expect:
- A safe and affirming environment
- Opportunities to build lasting friendships
- Fun activities, games, and creative projects
- Leadership and volunteer opportunities
- Resources and support from trusted adults
- A judgment-free space where you can simply be yourself
Whether you’re newly exploring your identity or have been part of the LGBTQ+ community for years, you are welcome here.
Come as you are. Bring a friend. Find your community.
