PARTNER WITH EQUALITY TOLEDO FLAUNT

FLAUNT started as a dream of bringing together the LGBTQ community, fashion, the arts, and our allies in one event.

Flaunt is that event. We have a unique fashion show showcasing local and regional designers and artists. Part of our ensemble for the evening will be the Toledo Opera, Toledo Ballet, Toledo Symphony, Toledo School for the Arts, and much more. While this will be our fourth year, we have seen exponential growth and interest in this event. Last year we had over 250+ guests, ten local designers, 120+ models, and raised over $10,000. The much-needed money raised helps us fund our organization and continually growing programming.

The show consists of music and fashion entertainment from the LGBTQ community. The evening's emcee is none other than Toledo's female impersonator Deja D. Dellataro and DJ3PM. The evening's venue will be at Erie Street Market - 201 S Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604 on November 11th from 6:30-10:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Attendees can look forward to an evening of one-of-a-kind fashion entertainment and much more. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. All proceeds go towards Equality Toledo.

SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT

SPONSORSHIP DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1, 2023

Terms and Payment

This agreement will not be considered confirmed until all parties sign this contract and payment is received in full. The term of this sponsorship agreement begins on the date the agreement is confirmed.

Rescheduling/Cancellations

We reserve the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel Equality Toledo or any individual events if necessary for any reason, including, but not limited to: weather, failure to receive commitments for sponsors, failure to reach agreement with applicable authorities on an issue related to Equality Toledo, or other acts beyond the control of Equality Toledo (i.e. fire, strike, war, change of law or regulation, or public catastrophe). If Equality Toledo is cancelled in whole, the Equality Toledo will issue refunds based on monetary amounts paid directly to Equality Toledo. No further refunds or other amount will be due from the Equality Toledo and in no case will the amount of the refund exceed the amount of the sponsorship fee paid. If a sponsor fails to attend Equality Toledo, the business/organization will not be refunded.

Liability

Neither the Equality Toledo nor its representative will be responsible for any injury, loss, harm, or damage that may occur to the sponsor from any cause whatsoever. Under no circumstances will Equality Toledo be liable to lost profits or other special consequential damage. The forgoing will apply regardless of how any claim is brought or how damages are characterized, including whether brought in contract, tort, or otherwise.

This agreement affirms that the applicant and/or business represented by the applicant act in accordance to the mission of Equality Toledo, to celebrate and educate the LGBTQIA+ community in Toledo and its surrounding areas while fighting for equal rights for all. Signature of this agreement affirms that the individual, organization, or business named does not discriminate in hiring, employment, participation, or services rendered based on the fact or perception of a person’s race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, domestic partner status, disability, or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or HIV status.

GDPR *This agreement serves as a contract between the authorized signer(s) above, herein referred to as the “Sponsor” and Equality Toledo, herein referred to as the “Organizer”. Sponsor herby submits the application for marketing and promotional services at and in connection with Equality Toledo, Ohio to the Organizer, and herby acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in the Sponsorship Guidelines. All marketing/sponsor opportunities are sold and assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prior years’ sponsors/marketing partners do not have exclusive rights to current year sponsorships or marketing opportunities. The sponsor further agrees that, upon acceptance by the organizer, this application shall become a legally binding contract, enforceable in accordance with its terms, and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned at any time for any reason. Confirmation of this will be returned. Sponsor agrees to adhere to all rules and regulations in the relation to this agreement. The authorized signer hereby represents and warrants that he/she is duly authorized to execute this agreement on behalf of the sponsor named. The authorized signer has read these terms and accepts the same.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION & VENDOR

Thank you for your interest in participating in Equality Toledo. Please see the attached information regarding community organization and vendor booth registration and set-up.

Space/Booth Details

No structure may exceed 15’ in height. You may provide any tent or booth structure as long as it falls within the City of Toledo safety guidelines and fits within the space you have rented. Your tent must be weighted and secured 40 pounds per leg. EQUALITY TOLEDO does not supply tables and chairs UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGMENTS ARE MADE. Equality Toledo has final determination over the placement of all booths within designated location. Please note this event is a gated event meaning that you must carry in and carry out any of your supplies; no cars are allowed in the event. Please bring handcarts, if needed. We recognize that not all are able to do this and if so, this event may not be for you. NO FOOD OR DRINK CAN BE SOLD OR DISTRIBUTED FROM BOOTHS DUE TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS. (pre-packaged candy is acceptable)

Power

Electricity is NOT available for community or vendor booths. You may bring your own battery power equipment. Gas-powered generators are not permitted due to noise and fume emissions.

Noise

We love music however, as a courtesy to other exhibitors, Equality Toledo reserves the right to limit amplified sound from your booth.

Special Requests

All special requests must be included in this application, please add additional paper if necessary. Late requests have no guarantee of accommodation.

Cancellations

You may cancel your booth application at any time prior to the stated application deadline of Thursday, August 1, 2022 and receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the stated deadline will not be refunded.
