The storytellers chose a work within the Museum that they connected with emotionally or relate to. Equality Toledo is happy to invite the Toledo community to listen to several personal stories from local LGBTQ members to improve understanding\, awareness\, and empathy in the community.\n\nThe group is going to meet at the Matisse mural (called Apollo). To get to Apollo:\n-Enter the museum from Herrick Lobby (the Art Museum Drive/Grove Place side of the museum.) Check in at the Visitor Experience desk-Head down the main hallway (you will pass bathrooms on either side of you) & go just past the staircases-You should now be in front of a colorful ceramic tile mural – that’s Apollo!\n\nIf you are a TMA member parking is free. If you are not members\, the fee is $10 in the TMA lot.

SUMMARY:Pro Bono Committee First General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Equality Toledo is excited to announce the formation of our Pro Bono Committee. Open to the public\, we invite local attorneys\, legal professionals\, law students\, and any other interested community members to our first meeting. We’ll discuss the beginning stages of an LGBTQ+ focused legal clinic\, what we want it to look like and what services we aim to provide; we’ll also review expectations for committee members and answer any questions you have. Please bring your strategies\, ideas\, and personal experience! Attending this meeting does not obligate you to continue working with the committee\, but we hope you’ll be interested in assisting us throughout the coming year(s). \nMeeting is scheduled for Thursday\, April 11\, 2024 at 6:30pm. It will take place at our office at 440 Floyd St.\, Unit C\, Toledo\, Ohio 43620. Street parking and the lot across the street are free. Please be aware of limited space in our building. \nEquality Toledo does not currently provide legal representation or services.
