SUMMARY:Pro Bono Committee First General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Equality Toledo is excited to announce the formation of our Pro Bono Committee. Open to the public\, we invite local attorneys\, legal professionals\, law students\, and any other interested community members to our first meeting. We’ll discuss the beginning stages of an LGBTQ+ focused legal clinic\, what we want it to look like and what services we aim to provide; we’ll also review expectations for committee members and answer any questions you have. Please bring your strategies\, ideas\, and personal experience! Attending this meeting does not obligate you to continue working with the committee\, but we hope you’ll be interested in assisting us throughout the coming year(s). \nMeeting is scheduled for Thursday\, April 11\, 2024 at 6:30pm. It will take place at our office at 440 Floyd St.\, Unit C\, Toledo\, Ohio 43620. Street parking and the lot across the street are free. Please be aware of limited space in our building. \nEquality Toledo does not currently provide legal representation or services.
